Little Colonsay Beach House

The kitchen has an oven and microwave. The dishwasher will be installed in time for our summer season, as well as a new BBQ. Exciting building projects will keep us busy during the winter. We are building a new sleepout (Like we have up at Gunyah) as well as the addition of new doors opening from the lounge onto a new deck, an outside shower and extra toilet.

The house was built in 1952 for the engineer of the Perano Whaling Station, Mr David Cormick, helping to build and design the large, metal, cylinder shaped tanks used for delivering the whale oil to Picton (which are still at the whaling station today). The house is situated a stone’s throw away from the sea, and is in position to have the sun shine onto it throughout the day even through the winter time.

We loved our time at the farm, was very relaxing, awesome views and fishing. The Radons couldn't do enough for you. Thank you for an awesome stay. Mar 2016.
